The City of Angels witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Local events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
